Our Saturday Social Class is designed to help students learn communication skills, problem solving skills, and how to control their emotions through socialization play. We will help develop friendships by teaching what is involved in being a “good friend”, how to join in – turn taking, and sharing, also how to play appropriately and identify and express our feelings correctly. Our classes are designed to be fun and interactive in a safe and engaging environment. Sessions are limited by size and are lead by certified instructors.

Our ABC Bootcamp will provide your child with a hands-on approach to learning letters, names and letter sound from a certified special education NYC DOE teacher. Each session will focus on 1-2 letters, emphasis on letter recognition, letter formations, and letter sounds. Classes will begin with teacher and child led instruction and will be followed by hands-on crafts and activities to strengthen the instruction. This class is perfect students still learning their letter and students who require extra support in letter knowledge.

Delve into a world of might, magic, and monsters as we explore the fantastical world of dungeons and dragons! Players will embark on an adventure for the ages which will challenge their critical reasoning skills and encourage them to work together as a team towards a common goal. Everyday your children will get generalized homework help by our licensed teachers for grades K-5. Classes are divided into two sessions.

The first half of our session will be generalized homework help, and the second half will be directed to specific areas of concentration.

Classes are 90 minutes long. Classes begin the first week of October!

Our reading group are led by licensed instructors, experienced with the NY Dept. of Education. Small group teaching is the best approach to ensure students comprehend text they are reading by monitoring them closely. One-on-one tutoring is available. Our goal is for your child to build confidence and find joy in reading!

This class will help provide your child with the tools for success through our new cooperative story hour.

These stories will focus on lessons, problems, and social scenarios that your child faces daily and have relevance in their lives. From learning to share, to navigating the tricky terrain of our own emotions., these picture books will connect to your child in a fun, safe, and supportive learning environment.

Run by a certified special education teacher this class will begin with a fun and engaging read-aloud and will end with an activity to expand on the concept. Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) may be a new term to you however, it is deeply rooted in research and student testimonies (Center for Responsive Schools).
