We are a place where children from toddler to pre-teens can learn and develop in a safe, structured, and fun environment. The diverse variety of classes we offer from sensory to social classes to board games to tutoring, will work to meet your child’s personal preferences and promote the excitement that exists in learning something new with those who share similar interests!

Here at Making Strides Learning Center, we look to develop a setting that fosters and develops growth for your child. We pride ourselves on our ability to bring children together to develop a positive self-image, build friendships, and learn, all while working towards a collective goal!
While we are centrally located in Long Island City, we like to think of our facility as a small friendly neighborhood center where your child can feel safe, have fun and learn in a comfortable setting. We offer small group class settings to allow your child to progress at their own pace.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe, happy, and comfortable learning environment; beginning with our youngest group of toddlers. We believe it is important to develop in a nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth, through developing a positive self-image and a love for learning.

The Making Strides Team reflects a group of experienced individuals who come from multiple backgrounds centered on helping children reach their specific goals. Our team members are certified and have years of experience in working with children in both one-on-one and group settings.
Several of our team members are teachers and DOE providers with experience in PT, OT, Speech, and ABA.
Therapeutic Services
Beyond the many classes and activities that we offer our members, Making Strides also provides various therapeutic services for children looking to enhance focus and development in several areas.
Making Strides PLLC is a therapeutic licensed professional entity registered in the state of New York State under the approval of The New York State Department of Education.
